Starting with V.6.8.0, MessagEase incorporates a combined setting for keyboards, their associated word lists, and their themed appearance.
The new Settings: Languages & Keyboard enables you to add as many keyboards as you wish, each with its own unique appearance, language setting and word list associated to it.
Tap on the string_plus button to create an additional keyboard. Select the language for that keyboard from the set of available languages and press ok. A keyboard with that language setting and with its default appearance and word list (if available) will be created and added to the list of your keyboards.
Simply tap on one of the three buttons on the keyboard set to change its related attribute. You can change colors, the language, or the word list of any of your keyboards.

You can change the color of the background, the main letters, the less frequent letters, or the special characters to any color you wish. Once you are satisfied, press the back button to get back to languages_n_keyboards_string screen.
Keyboard Language
Each keyboard's language is determined when you first Add it. To change a keyboards language, simly add a new keyboard with the language you want, then delete the other, unwanted one.
If you wish, you can have two keyboards with the same base language with different colors and word lists. For example, you can have two English keyboards one using English word list, and the other one using French word list. This way, when you switch keyboard, the letter patterns will remain the same, but the word prediction would be based on French words.
Word Lists:
You can change the word list of any keyboard to any available word list. Simply tap on the button located on the right side of the keyboard set. A list of installed word lists will be presented for you to choose from. You can also elect to download and install additional word lists from Google Play.
If a word list button appears in red, it means that that word list is not currently installed. Simply tap on that red button and follow the instructions to download and install that module. After you install the module, you need to re-visit Languages and keyboards screen to complete the installation.
Once you install the wordlist from a module, you can safely uninstall the module itself from your device.
Changing keyboards on the fly:
Once you have more than one keyboard installed, you can issue a left drag-and-return m command starting from the 123/ABC button to change from one keyboard to the next.
Deleting a Keyboard:
To delete a keyboard, simply tap on the delete_string button and select the keyboard you want to delete from the list.

To use Word prediction, you need to have a suitable language word list associated with the keyboard you are using and also have enabled Word Prediction by checking the checkbox on languages_n_keyboards_string screen.
Word prediction also tries to find matching words even when you misspell a few letters of the target word. up to three consecutive misspelled letters are ignored and the matching words are retrieved.
After you enable word prediction and enter a few letters,
MessagEase displays words that begin with those letters.
To do so MessagEase uses two word lists, the language word
list attached to the keyboard and the user word Lists.
You can change the number of letters it takes for
Word Prediction to start by moving the slider
onset_number_of_chars_string in
settings_string >
languages_n_keyboards_string
